The new Continental GTC Speed ​​is the convertible version of the new Continental GT Coupe - it also features the GT Speed's exciting new design and hugely powerful new hybrid drive.
The powertrain, called "Ultra-Performance Hybrid", combines a V8 petrol engine with a powerful electric motor to get the best of both worlds: zero-emissions and silent electric driving whenever you prefer it, and the muscular power of a V8 engine when you're on the open road. By harmoniously combining both worlds, this car is capable of truly exhilarating performance. It takes you from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and impresses with a top speed of 285 km/h.
In terms of styling, the Continental GTC Speed ​​is also unrivalled and unlike any other convertible. The updated front end features new oval headlights that are even more piercing thanks to the sharp, straight tops of the headlights. Also new are the smoke-colored taillights at the rear, which are color-coordinated with the dark exterior details of the Speed ​​model.
With a wealth of new features − from the infotainment system to the chassis systems and the two front seats − this car is equipped with the latest technology that makes driving even more enjoyable − both with the top down and up. Whatever the weather and however you choose to drive, you'll enjoy an incredible balance of motorsport-inspired luxury, exceptional refinement and unparalleled acceleration.
At the front, stunning new headlights flank a dark-tinted grille exclusive to Speed ​​models. With dark-tinted detailing around the car and a new body-coloured styling specification that highlights the side sills, front splitter and rear diffuser, the new Continental GTC Speed ​​exudes true racing character and incredible road presence.
Inside, exclusive Speed ​​features are everywhere, from the colour combination and ‘Speed’ embroidery on the diamond-quilted leather and Dinamica, to the Speed ​​badges on the instrument panel gauges and sports pedals. Stunning new three-dimensional diamond-textured leather gives the door panels a very special, sports-inspired feel. The standard Colour Specification lets you choose from the full range of Bentley leather colours.
With unique features specifically developed for open-top driving − such as heated armrests, a heated steering wheel and neck warmers integrated into the front seats − the Bentley design team really have thought of everything. For the ultimate in sporting luxury, you can also choose to darken all of the interior's light trim by selecting the Dark Chrome Interior Specification. An attractive option as it matches the exterior detailing very well − a combination that immediately catches the eye when the top is down.
The new Continental GTC Speed ​​is the most powerful convertible Bentley has ever created. Its ultra-performance V8 hybrid powertrain delivers 782 hp and an incredible 1,000 Nm of torque, enabling maximum acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The roof can be opened and closed at speeds of up to 50 km/h.
To harness this power, Bentley engineers have equipped the car with a "Performance Active Chassis" that includes a range of advanced chassis systems that make driving the Continental GTC Speed ​​easier and more exciting than ever before.
Features include dual-valve suspension dampers that offer even more variability in driving dynamics between the different modes - so you can cruise in luxury in Comfort mode without compromising on dynamic handling in Sport mode. The electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD) improves rear wheel grip when cornering, allowing you to confidently explore the limits of your car. Bentley Dynamic Ride is a 48-volt electronic roll stabilization system that adapts to driving conditions and controls body roll during fast cornering without compromising comfort during more relaxed driving. Finally, all-wheel steering reduces the vehicle's turning circle at low speeds and enables smoother lane changes and overtaking on the motorway.
