Rags The Movie Underrated Classic

Before you say anything, yes, I know The Palace is not a diner it's a karaoke bar. I always assumed it was a diner and never bothered to fact-check that's on me.
Rags was a Nickelodeon original movie from 2012. I remember liking it but definitely forgot about it through the years. After watching it again, I can see how its fan still loves it. It's a shame Nickelodeon hasn't made many movies like these.

The only thing similar about this movie and Let it Shine is that theyre both musicals and Kadee and Roxy had pretty similar story lines as the B plot. However, i think those story lines were done differently enough that they still feel like different characters

there's a point of comparison in that they're both adaptations. let it shine is an updated version of a play called cyrano de bergerac, hence cyrus. and this is an updated cinderella. so they can be compared in which one understands its source material better. as in, what did they set out to prove and how well did they execute?

i kinda miss the ukulele era. they used to be so popular. which im guessing is why they gave them to max alot. he can and did play the ukulele and guitar and with him being the cute guy of nickelodeon/disney it makes sense. good movie! true jackson vp x how to rock. max schneider truly shines no matter what. forever mad that nickelodeon tried to control him instead of supporting him. he gave that network their best music and shows smh.

I watched this movie a few months ago, hadn't seen it since it was on tv. It's a fun movie for sure but man it is a mess lol. So many things don't make sense lmao. The whole secret identity thing is just thrown in there for now reason??? And why did he have to keep it secret for real? Hahaha its silly but definitely fun to watch. There is also that part where Drake's beard is missing in one scene hahaha If they tweaked some things with the story so it made a bit more sense with the Cinderella aspect it def would be a step up.
