At 9:17 I don't think you need to move your canoe since the card only required a single loam and your production site counts as having one loam any time.

this is correct. Factories always produce whether there are boats in front of them or not.

you are indeed correct... I think the rules could have been a little clearer and emphasize this because it's a little different than usual for board games, usually it's like Richard played it, to get the production you have to have access to it, in this case by the boats picking it... but in this game the boats just add extras... this makes the game a lot easier... When Jen built her second house at 55:00 she should have immediately gained the topmost rancher off her player board as a bonus for placing all of the items in that row. That gives you a little more income as well.

it also costs one rancher to execute each upgrade, so she couldn't have done 2 ugrades at all.

I looked up the definition of "Analysis Paralysis" and it's added a new footnote that says "See Boon Lake"...I wonder why? :)

I disagree - it may be because I push the game forward to explore, and possibly because I generally only have a grid of five cards and five usable turn options to evaluate. My needs are usually clear, and there's (especially on the river) lots of spaces to ignore (basically every $1 space, and most $2s). Plus, I'll take just about anything over Tikal, where I managed to cook AND EAT a bowl of ramen between turns.

tikal is a MONSTER! the rules call them 'action points' (10 OF THEM) but nope, they're APPs (analysis paralysis points) :)

Thank you for this runthrough. I find that I always wait for the Rahdo treatment before making decisions on my medium-heavy Eurogames. The way resources are handled in this game by moving boats is delightful. Is there a Golem runthrough incoming soon? :-)

This game looks interesting but also like it's trying to do too much... I think i would rather stick with LA Granja or Clans of Caledonia. To be sure though I would have to play it. Great video. Take care.
