Gameplay aside, the artwork and overall presentation have to be admired...it's great when we see games pushing boundaries instead of retreading the same paths. And the Escher-esque logo is wonderful!

15:45 The building removes Wrap tiles and not anomalies and in the phase after this the Warp tiles will be selected so it's possible to use the building in the first era (round). (I've played the game already a few times, really like it and am now a backer.)

Get something from Phil Eklund, like Pax Pamir, Neathertal etc. The options in the game and complexity are great.

You should be revealing the *next* era's superproject in phase one. This allows players to work toward its requirements before it's available.

So I just watched your video on Trickerion, and this one looks pretty big (table top real estate needed), so to help with my spatial reasoning, roughly how big is your table?

Have you got rid of your genknson table?
@kennyb33258 жыл бұрын
They didn't want to keep it, because attachment is the heart of suffering. Or because they didn't want to accrue furniture in Malta when they might move elsewhere, take your pick. Their table found a good home with a gamer in Malta, and Rahdo has said that GeeknSon has offered them their own table if they ever feel stable enough to want their own.

this looks really really really cool. wasn't on my radar at all. pledged for now, not sure i have the funds this month. will need to make some hard choices. Dark souls pledge will get canceled for this and another game

+Jason Wayne Speicher You figure Dark Souls will be more easily available in retail? I need to learn to prioritize KS choices,- what factors you use to choose.if you like all of them? =P
@jwspiker8 жыл бұрын
+Angshuman Chakraborty budget being #1, once that's reached, then will the same thing be available at retail, Will i play it, is it a can't miss value (exclusives/expansions being included). The last one ends up being one i try to allow myself to make an assessment on what games to back. There are a lot of games out right now. Dark souls i don't think would ever hit the table in my groups. I'd be getting it because of the perceived value,which in the end i don't want to deal with the possibility of it being another Myth.

15 min of video and only 1 move has been made. Sorry to see the contents quality of Rahdo's videos continue to spiral down. Perhaps turn down on the theatrics and up the productivity, so one doesn't have to spend a full hour getting a feel for the game. Honestly, the only thing that keeps me coming back at this point is the level of production quality.
@ericaschaidt85888 жыл бұрын
Moe Joe You have to keep in mind that this game appears to have a LOT of complexity to it. There is a lot to explain etc in regards to set up, the end game goals (why they'll play as they do etc.). So yes a game such as this may take a bit more time to "set up" before getting into the real meat of playing. But I enjoying seeing the mechanics of how it all fits together and runs etc. It helps me when I'm deciding if it's a good fit for my gaming group. Just my personal opinion. And I still find the videos entertaining even when the lead ins run longer on some.
@nanorider4267 жыл бұрын
If you are dissatisfied with Rahdo then don't watch the videos. It's as simple as that. I agree with Erica, this game is complex!

OK... I like EXTREMELY complex games and usually can understand them but my head is spinning in circles so flipping fast!!! It looks like it could have potential but the board is very overwhelming... Who else agrees?
@kenbagwell85517 жыл бұрын
It looks more complicated than it is. It's comprised of several straightforward game mechanics that all work together. Once you grasp the symbology used to describe the actions of everything printed on the pieces, it's really not too bad. And the rulebook is one of the best I have read.
@kosterix1237 жыл бұрын
too big for our table; idea in itself is great, who doesn't love time travel. But why do ks so often need to be so big? Ah yes, bigger = better, US filosophy. Not mine.
