Lucknow Vlog 4. We went to this famous place called Raheem's which is a 100 years + shop. They are known for Nahari Kulcha and people travel especially for this combo. Taking your car would be a wrong decision as the place is located at a crowded area. Pricing is on reasonable side. They have everything almost prepared in big bowls. I ordered for their Nahari Kulcha, Mutton Biryani and Pasanda Kebab. They have a proper seating area to enjoy the meal. The owner seemed very nice and cordial. There menu is limited with around 10 to 12 Dishes Max. Check out my reaction to 100 years old Nahari Kulcha.

Great, Yaar ShoAro..... I've got some good memories from Lucknow (LKO).....my younger Brother did his Graduation from Lucknow Christian College (he couldn't get admission in DU) and being a frequent visitor I tried so much food in LKO, but the feeling was okay (not too bad 😊😊)..... I was born and raised in Daryaganj, schooled from Ramjas School, Daryaganj then to DU, etc. Anyways (just like you say), the Best Pasanda Kababs I ever had was in Karachi and Faisalabad. While working for USAID and World Bank out of Virginia state, between 2016 to 2021, I traveled at four different times to Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Lyallpur (now Faisalabad), Abbotabad, Charsadda (Peshawar), Qissa Khwani Bazaar (few famous Indian actors' birthplace in Peshawar) Islamabad, Hyderabad (Sindh) etc. but there's no Non-veg food in the World that can ever match the Goshtt items from Karachi (KHI), not even my Old Delhi, it's just phenomenal, I tell ya. Wahaan "shaam walay kaam" mein thodi dikkat zaroor aati thi, but in 5-stars and being non-Muslim, it was OK. BTW, I'm your 74th Subscriber and I watched you for the very first time from Karachi......from my Hotel Room.........funny.......😊😊

Awadh ke khaane ko dilli ke khaane compare nhi kiya jaa sakta... Awadh ka khana is mild as in sense of masalas and more khushboos.... On the other hand dilli ka khaana is bit more on aggressive side me..

aapne sahi kaha bhai idrish ki biryani ki tarah 2,3 jageh milti hai lko me baaki idrish jitni mehnat karte hai or unki biryani me rash malai ki khusboo aati hai jo kisi me nahi aati...agar dibba pack krae or usko smell kre to bina dekhe bata nahi paega aadmi k isme biryani hai..ek biryani or hai wo bhi top 3 me aati hai lko me or wo hai saif ki biryani jo k chowk se aage hardoi road par daddy cool k bagal me lagti hai or a one quality ki hoti hai.

Bihari Kababs (brought by Mohajirs from Bihar to Karachi) are similar to Pasanda Kababs, the only difference being that the Bihari Kababs are made out of Beef Goshtt, too Good 👍 ....

Chicken Seekh Kababs made from the breast are certainly dry, and the only way to keep them moist is by immersion of some Butter & Cream. Mutton & Beef Seekh Kababs comes from the Qeema that has around 25% 'charbi' (fat) within the Qeema, thus making it juicy and lot tastier. Just for your information, from an Amateur Chef....

Great to see you at Rahim and having Nihari and Pasanda. Yes, it’s true that Delhi’s Nihari is different than Lucknow. Lucknow’s Nihari has acquired taste and bit on simpler side. Taste is mild, less spices used and because of that you get more of Gosht’s flavour. Also, please try Chowk Tunday as well as I suggested earlier. Thanks!

Watched for 1 minute and realised this is not original Rahim. Original Rahim is spelled as RAHIM, they don’t have a board, they’re in basement. Same mistake yet another time, please don’t back and tell everyone that you tried best food in Lucknow. You came to lko, visited random restaurants, which aren’t part of Awadh’s legacy and made a vlog. Had you even seen Anubhav Sapra’s vlogs in lko you would have known where to visit. He told me the dishes are made in same.kitchen and delivered to both branches. Indeed it is original and be rest assured. @@Arorashoaib Hahaha, don’t believe everything they tell you Shoaib. Rahim never had a branch, never will have a branch. They don’t even have a board brother. They don’t even do home delivery. For them it’s never about business, at least until now. This is copied, there’s a possibility that this is another branch of copied restaurant. It’s a common mistake that ppl visit RAHEEM instead of RAHIM, but food vloggers should do a better research I guess.
