As an Islamic republic, Iran has many religious holidays.
The day of the birth of important religious leaders and the day of martyrdom are designated as holidays and rest.
My father-in-law provided material support for the food to be distributed to people, and I went in the morning to pack the food. We provide a full meal to those who are in short supply, and exchange with relatives and neighbors while sharing. It may be a religious event, but I think it is a culture where you can interact with your neighbors.
Come and see how we spent the Arbain event!
You can see more of Iranian life on my wife's Instagram.
