i have this placement, and guess what???? im a MAID, a HOUSEKEEPER on a FOREIGN LAND..and because my Rahu is conjunct w my JUPITER, i do have a comfortable life. I am 26 years old and currently living in my hometown, and am in the process of getting the hell out of here and going as far away as possible! I am literally about to buy a one-way ticket to London or Spain. It sounds so exotic and foreign and dope!! I'm going to live there and find a way to work there! I've always had foreign friends and got along best with foreign people for some reason. I'm so excited to get the hell out of here! Wow you nailed it honestly. You just explained my struggle of the past 7 years (and earlier even)! Moving back to my birth city, been very depressed and unsatisfied here on all levels of live!! I have spent 9 months abroad, when I was 20 years old and this was the best time in my life so far! I am a completely different person living in a foreign country, much happier and all my good sides and talents show and flow. Also it's true, I really need a lot of space, high ceilings, if I don't have it, I become depressed. Also it's true that I hate 9-5 jobs, I constantly changed jobs during the past 7 years. Would like to be independent, creative and unconventional in my worklife. I hav started a very unique further education last year at the age of 33 and this started a new and profound journey for me, working with myself, confronting my old fears, for a more colourful and independent future hopefully. I have this axis. Yes I had an “unusual” childhood home life - I grew up in Mumbai, India with a stay-at-home dad and mom who worked for IRS. I travelled nowhere until I started working for Air France at age 20 after my dad passed away and so I had to make a passport…so of course then I had slim bosses with light complexion. I ended up moving to California at 23, had a very fast arranged marriage (only 8 days courtship). For the first 15 years here I went nowhere international, I just did my mba had a tech job birthed 3 kids and went wherever my Scorpio husband wanted to go but from 2017 I started going all over the place - back to Bombay 3-4 times, Australia 4x, France with my daughter, Iceland solo and then with my sons, Switzerland, Ireland, Germany, Andalusia Spain, Dubai, Britain….I’m sure I’m forgetting some countries here and there. Then the lockdown began and I started doing my doctoral studies in psychology (I used to be in Finance before so that was definitely some Ketu 10house thing that got triggered for me. And yes speaking of “alternative career, astrologer instead of psychologist”. I am an Apprentice to Rick Levine - a pretty renowned Counseling Astrologer who was himself trained in Psychology before he became an astrologer 30-40 years back. I couldn’t possibly go become a conventional psychologist and deal with all that garbage paperwork and claims forms…no way! Then I’d rather go back to finance. Well fun fact, I did end up getting a corporate job this year at the age of 29 after all 😂 After Covid hit and the industry I used to be in (cosmetic retailing) slowed down, I became lazy and unmotivated. A corporate job is what saved me. Although I don’t 100% like working a 9-5, it’s still great money, it’s stable and I get frequent raises and promotions. I have a reason to dress up nice, do my hair and makeup and actually go out and feel like I’m doing something important with my life. What keeps me sane are my side hustles/hobbies (being a makeup artist, selling cosmetics and fashion on the side, being a nail & lash tech in my free time). I used to think staying at home was ideal for me but I’d get bored and depressed quick cause I needed a reason to dress nice and go out, to feel like I have purpose. A corporate job allows me that, as much as I hate it sometimes lol.

Omg my dad has this! Talk about unusual things in the home! My dad moved from LA to Fresno 300 m away in a nice upscale neighbourhood now. He raises a big Avery outback of tropical finches he sells, then he got a frekin chicken coop too. He put in a huge organic vegetable garden, 100sf. So you said something unusual -he bought a full size farmers tractor he drives around shovelling dirt in the driveway and rides it around the upscale neighbourhood and kind of Cromed out the tractor with a fancy paint job. He's obsessed with his house and fixing it. He's a retired teacher now ft handyman and has always done handyman weekend jobs. His mom A nurses aid but traveled the world by herself on vacations, doing exotic things like riding camels. They also had 14 cats in a cat room, and several cages of those guinea pigs to raise and sell, like about 50 lol!!

This is interesting my Rahu and Ketu are in the 4th and 10th house! I grew in a very safe and comfortable home environment. However I felt at a young age that I all not love at home or in my same city as an adult. Ive moved a lot to take career opportunities etc which are initially full-filing however I do not like to be complacent at work. Moving up the corporate ladder quickly has helped with that but when the pandemic hit I wanted to be back home with family and it made me questioned my career and then I lost my job and have been at home and now I’m struggling to get back out there but know it’s necessary. I also know I’m destined to be in a big city which is usually where I’m drawn to outside my hometown

Rahu and Ketu are toughest to understand, Kapiel Raj ji is very intelligent person but this analysis seems only partly true. This is established fact that Ketu shows traditional things, and definitely does not show leadership roles. I have not heard anywhere what he is saying about Ketu, But for Rahu he is definitely 100% correct. Ketu is very mysterious

Ohhhhh Kapiel...This axis explains my ENTIRE life!!! I emigrated to the US 26 years ago and am now an Ayurvedic Doctor with my practice set up inside my home :) (Rahu in Pisces and Ketu in Virgo) And even within this profession I am seen as "unusual" and utilizing little known techniques and approaches. Also I didn’t mention this before as I am not sure if this is something discussed in Vedic Astrology much but, my Chiron is conjunct my Rahu. Again I don’t know if Vedic astrology uses Chiron at all. But I am just saying for the purpose of understanding my chart as well as others that have similar placements. Since Chiron is our inner wounds and traumas from childhood being with Rahu in the 4th house my inner world has had felt unsafe in early life. I know it’s confusing but fascinating too! Thanks!

I moved countries when I was 19 to study and work. After 10+ years I've now decided to go back to my home country to be closer to and mend my relationship with my parents, plus by doing this to achieve a greater sense of security and inner peace. Not sure how it relates to my Rahu 4th H. in Capri/Ketu 10th H. in Cancer. I've always been curious about other cultures but only recently realised traveling abroad is mostly stressful to me despite that I've visited many countries. However, there's one I have not visited yet and will visit finally after the pandemic - Japan, lol. Will be at peace with my travel/exotic quota after that! :D

Thank you for this viewpoint. I have Rahu in the 4th house in Taurus. I quit my job in 1994, to paint at home. I have avoided being successful in a career outside the home, and my artwork is unusual. My mother was mentally ill, and loved hosting parties. I have lived thousands of miles from my birth city since I left in 1972. In Western astrology, I have Uranus conjunct the North node of the moon, in the 4th house, so more unusual energy. In my Vedic chart, I have the Sun and Mercury in the 4th house. As far as career is concerned for people with Ketu in 10H, it will depend on the dispositor but there will be a spiritual blend to it. They can either be natural or yogic healer or astrologers or occultist (Saturn-Ketu will move you more towards spirituality) or a career or job where you are not very much absorbed or move out very quickly. There could be atleast 2-3 change in career for these people. I know someone whose chart I saw and recommended for professional related to healing & spirituality (there were other indicators ofcourse) and she is now a successful Reiki healer.

I moved to the US at the age of 13. I have Ra and SaR in the 4th (Leo) and Ke in the 10th (Aquarius) -- this explained a lot of my heavy, heavy frustrations in my very unorthodox home life and career. :/ It is really a push/pull dynamic that I've been trying to balance. I work from home as a business owner virtual assistant and also do mystical work on the side - but it's a struggle. It's very true - I spend a lot of time in one area, and run back to the inner or outer plane when either the 4th or 10th becomes too much. Also true about the 10th house and hiding - I do hide who I truly am out of fear and feel more at peace at home BUT home doesn't feel quite right either - I feel trapped at home too. Thanks for shedding light on this with Ra/Ke as an influence. Hopefully, I can learn to work with this more and find a good balance. :-) On another note: those of us with this placement should form a support group! LOL ;) My gosh - it gets very rough at times!

Jamie Bateman if it's any consolation, famous emperors (cakravartins) such as Vikramādittya, Aśokha, Candragupta, and some others have had this particular axis. The reason is that Ketu in the tent house represents mastery of the professional field while Rāhu the fourth represents an obsession towards securing one's seat/thrown - which is found in the house.

Their dad is a foreigner, I have my dual citizenship, and we always wanted them to have summers with their extended family in Italy and mom and Dad will likely retire there. I at first was really worried and thought it meant I had hurt her … she is now moving far away and is 21. I am a doctor professionally, it pays my bills. But it gets overwhelming most of the time. The way i recharge myself is doing digital art, tattoo art in private. And i am guilty for doing art but i feel dissatisfied with my worklife. Its a constant battle back and forth. I just always felt like i wanted to work alone in private.
