Best video ever about rahu in the 1st Ketu in the 7th. I have this placement with lord of the 7th in the 6th. I was happily married for almost all of my 16 years of marriage, but it ended in divorce for these very same reasons. Black hole!! Everything you said was spot on. Im quite happy with Rahu in 1st house, and it is placed in Sagittarius. When young, Ive been a great fan of Jimy Hendrix, and I lived with people who were artistic and artists and critical of society, to the horror of my parents. Yes, it depends on a few different things. Remember, Ketu acts like its lord. What's the dignity of the planet that rules Ketu? Also, what is the situation of the Navamsha? That specifically shows marriage possibilities. The Rashi shows the path one takes. That can be a rocky marriage or an easy marriage, but the Navamsha helps to fully clarify if it develops.

I have been thinking about ketu's placement and was wondering if ketu in a certain position means that that's an area of life we don't have to worry about too much , although rahu's aspect makes us worry about it sometimes. I have Rahu conjunct my ascendant in Ardra. Only now I realised that the way this aspect manifests in my life is a little tricky. Although I literally embody many many Ardra traits (my physique screams Ardra!) I am always looking for - sometimes in a obsessive way - some other Ardra themes. As a sidenote, I can say that I'm always angry with myself and that's my only 1H placement. And yeah I never asked for advice in my life. Jupiter doesn't do well in signs ruled by Mercury. Mercury starves Jupiter. Jupiter is important for woman's chart for marriage. Ketu contributes. Also check d9, and state of Jupiter and 9th Bhava cusp lord in d9.

That could be worse, because then Jupiter isn't just getting starved by Mercury by being in his sign, it's getting starved by aspect. Although if Mercury is in 1st 15 degrees of Pisces, he's DB, so doesn't have strength to do so. We'd again need to look at vargas to check Jupiters strength and then Mercury's to see if Jupiter is getting hit hard or not.

It is said that rahu is yogakarka in ascendant if conjunct with trine lord. Then for scorpio lagna if rahu is conjuct with 9th lord moon is it yogakarka? As both moon and rahu are debilitated!

Btw, i have Ketu in 7th House, receiving aspects from Sun(7th Aspect), Mars(7th Aspect) & Saturn(3rd Aspect). :-)
