GST mein bahot kam paise lagte hai. 1-2 rupay sarkar ko dene mein koi galat nahi hai. Pahle ke raja maharaja bhi apni praja se kar wasool karte the. Jish se rajkosh mein dhan zama hota tha ush paise se rajya chalta tha. Janta ko kar dena bhi bahot zaruri hota hai ush paise se desh chalta hai. . 5-10 rupay hum bhikhari ko de sakte hai toh kya desh ke liye 1-2 rupay sarkar ko nahi nahi de sakte. Modi ji kaam bhi toh bahot kar rahe hai development mein hi sabse zayda paisa lagta hai. Jo modi sarkar bahot tezi se kar rahi hai. Deshwasi agar sarkar ko help nahi karenge toh desh ka vikash kaise hoga. 2 rupay bacha kar tum kar kya loge.. wahi 2 rupay sarkar ko dene se desh ka vikash bahot tezi se ho raha hai. @@ayushgautam2814 nahibahi, almost 20 years ago I finished my masters. The point is in India taxes had came down if you compared from 1960s. Excise sales tax vat service tax all were there before gst it’s just a single tax instead of multiple. The problem is RaGa think people believe before gst there were no other taxes but even uneducated people knows taxes were always there.

A single common "Goods and Services Tax (GST)" was proposed and given a go-ahead in 1999 during a meeting between the Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his economic advisory panel, which included three former RBI governors I. G. Patel, Bimal Jalan and C. Rangarajan. Any system or changes will have some teething issues, but if govt just avoid it because they don’t want to do it and don’t want to take pain of doing it… the country suffers . Below is timeline In 2005, the Kelkar committee recommended rolling out GST as suggested by the 12th Finance Commission.[10] After the defeat of the BJP-led NDA government in the 2004 Lok Sabha election and the election of a Congress-led UPA government, the new Finance Minister P. Chidambaram in February 2006 continued work on the same and proposed a GST rollout by 1 April 2010. However, in 2011, with the Trinamool Congress routing CPI(M) out of power in West Bengal, Asim Dasgupta resigned as the head of the GST committee. Dasgupta admitted in an interview that 80% of the task had been done.[10] The UPA introduced the 115th Constitution Amendment Bill[11] on 22 March 2011[12] in the Lok Sabha to bring about the GST. It ran into opposition from the Bharatiya Janata Party and other parties and was referred to a Standing Committee headed by the BJP's former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha. The committee submitted its report in August 2013, but in October 2013 Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi raised objections that led to the bill's indefinite postponement.[13] The Minister for Rural Development Jairam Ramesh attributed the GST Bill's failure to the "single handed opposition of Narendra Modi".[14] Look at the last line, in October 2013 Modi raised objection and anybody can raise it and it was rational objection you can check those in detail. One of them was big companies are manufacturing in Gujarat but head office is in Mumbai so there was problem in tax allocation… now October 2013 to may 2014 is 6 month where as chidu didn’t work on it for 10 years… People should know the facts, supporting party is different thing but clear facts is more important
