This is wrong in so many ways. Now just to cash in the maximum out of their application fees, they've dropped the cutoff. This is in no way fair to the students who worked hard to score high. Big L!!

@ How's that compensating? Low weightage scales down the contribution of the exam score. That should not be the case.

@@samarsingh3306lol exactly imagine a student scoring 250+ in nmat losing to a student who scored 220 in nmat but the student with the 220 was able to do better in the competency exam day given the 50 % weightage ......money recieved from both the party in the end

Score 220...I am still hesitant to go for the next round, as my only motivation to give nmat was nmims mumbai campus and reducing the cutoff to 209 kinda feels wrong. its like they are doing this to maximise the profit, ultimately they are gonna go for the ones with higher nmat score

@@nikhiljambhe yeah 20% matters a lot bruh when nmims mumbai is in the equation ..in the end the test will most probably be on the same lines as nmat ....you will be infact now competing with the students who have scored 230-240+ with a disadvantage of 20%...so the numbers dont make sense for students who have a score of less than 230...its just a way to extract money from students scoring less than 220 since there are huge number of students who have score less than 220 or who have scored well but missed out on sectional...in my opinion its not worth it 700+ batch size market down fees touching 25+ without hostel just taking advantage of students who are desperate.

I with a 246 am not filling the form. I feel so cheated that an exam which they designed and took 3500 for is given only 20% weightage. And there is no transparency as to what they would ask in the competency exam. Can't study at an unethical college

Mam while filling the assessment and PI form it is asking for obtained and total marks in graduation, but, the marking system of my university is CGPA and the % conversion for the obtained CGPA is available. What to fill in Obtained and total marks section because no such marking scheme is provided?

I just put in the cgpa year wise for all three years of my graduation. It then took in the obtained marks, total marks and percentage on it's own. I guess that's the only way to do it. The percentage shown will be different ofc but there's no other way. You can explain the discrepancy if asked in the interview.
