Rahul, what's your take on choosing new topic over having a different subscription? In theory you can send multiple message types to a topic and use message properties or correlationId to differentiate. Or it is better to have a single message format per topic?

Hey @rahul had a query on the usage of Service Bus and Azure function together for microservices. Let's say, if I perform a post call from one service and send the message to service bus, Azure functions picks that message and does the transformation if any and redirects to another service can be post/patch/get. What is your thought on it? Is my understanding correct? Or Is it case of over engineering? If not, any better ideas?

Rahul, your content is good! It's known that you prepare for recording video and customise video materials that you prepared. Its great. But you should work on pronunciation of English.

@@RahulNath It was in general. English is not my native lang and I have to practice a lot even in pronunciation. This is my fair feedback for you. Sorry if something is wrong. But I think that if you work harder on Eng-pronunciation you would gather a bigger audience and more subscribers.

Brilliant tutorial, don't know for me when I tried az servicebus topic subscription, I had to do --filter-sql-expression "Month = 'December'", otherwise it won't work. You have it as "Month = December", which I think is wrong. Only when you do "Month = 'December'" it won't work
@RahulNath2 жыл бұрын
Glad you like it Venky and good catch - You were following it very close! 🙂I did make a mistake the first time I ran that and had to run it to include the quotes but missed calling it out in the video. If you look at 45:07 where I use the previously used command again it has the single quotes around December. Sorry for the confusion, but glad you got it working and calling it out here 🙂

How we can transfer some gb of data from one microservice to another microservices? can we use event hub for this or something else services exists in azure. Also data streaming is possible with event hub like it is possible in Kafka?

Hi I have already .net core web API project I want to implement topics over there how can I use background service to read messages Instead of ServiceBusQueueTrigger or do I have any other option instead of Background Service
@RahulNath Жыл бұрын
You can use BackgroundJobs and poll for message in the bus. I have a sample here using Queue Storage and reading using BackgroundJob - www.rahulpnath.com/blog/getting-started-with-azure-queue-storage/#reading-messages You can also use Azure Functions to process the messages, which is a more scalable option www.rahulpnath.com/blog/getting-started-with-azure-functions/ If you want to learn more about Background Jobs kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYiwgn6gfdefgKc&ab_channel=RahulNath Let me know if that helps.
