“Kimo Hula” is one of those classic songs that represents the old Hawaiian ways of common hospitality. Friends would gather together just to enjoy each other’s company. In this case, Helen Desha Beamer takes us to a special place called Piʻihonua. This song was written for her friend James Henderson who had a home there.
