Raiden Fighters (Arcade) - All (Aegis)

This ship felt bad to play for a while. The weapons aren't totally terrible and have their uses, for example generally you want missiles as they are stronger, but spots like the stage 6 boss and most of the final stage laser is superior, the problem is just the overall low damage they do (this becomes even more glaring when you don't have slaves aka the option items).
I tried slightly more scoring for this though I'm still doing stuff like starting with airship instead of forest because of the fairy bomb at the beginning, not impossible to get it in stage 2 airship just more annoying, that and the Miclus sometimes. I'm not a big fan of these "fly over X spot" type of bonuses, especially when it turns out the guy wouldn't appear because I was off by about 3 pixels like at the start of the train stage but not the end of the world.
