Second, she is the Shogun, a GOD, even if she doesn't have the GNOSIS anymore, she is still strong enough to kill everyone in the islands except perhaps Miko and the Traveler. So, i love your rewrite, basically is, "How to Destroy Inazuma 101". Third, she isn't even hated by the people, the only ones that truly have problems with her are the resistance for obvious reasons (the death of orobashi, their God), and the people lived with the decree, knowing that all her actions were to prevent a second khaenri'ah. And, the worst thing, is that, in the end, your rewrite makes EI to face her actions, when all the things that happened in Inazuma were the actions that the PUPPET SHOGUN, a LIMITED machine with ORDERS to PRESERVE ETERNITY AT ALL COSTS, took to avoid the judgement of the Heavenly Principles, that force that can destroy COUNTRIES by THEMSELVES. The only true crime of Ei was to flee to her Euthymia to avoid the guilt for the death of her sister Makoto.
