I was there Sunday bright and early with a toddler running around. The offshore was amazing to see. Can’t wait to see what the Kodiak looks like when it’s flushed out. I’ll be trading the 210 explorer in for 30 offshore when the kiddos don’t cost 3k a month for daycare. See you in 4 years.

That looks like a very precarious location to install a circuit panel at the rear starboard walkthrough. That's going to constantly see water and waves in bad weather. And pulling fish through the door. Let alone hooking your pants and bibs on the hinges and handles every time you walk through it. Absolutely beautiful boat and thank you for the tour!

Thanks for your feedback. That latch actually sits recessed so it will not catch when walking through. The other thing we do with that door is seal it with a weather gasket. Keeps water out very well.

We don't have AC at the moment but we're working on it. Without a Genset AC gets tricky. We work with dealers but when you're ready reach out and we will get you in touch with the best source for the model you're looking at.

Can these boats operate in hotter climates? I've only seen these kinds of boats in California, Oregon, Alaska etc. They seem to be popular in colder water and colder places in general. I don't see them down in Florida or the Gulf in Texas. Can you put air conditioning that works in a metal boat or do you need to do fiberglass in hotter climates because of heat making the aluminum too hot? I've always wondered if these boats are just cold-water boats.

Absolutely. Aluminum will get hot on the trailer but not nearly as hot on the water. Idaho, Eastern Washington, Northern California, we’re fishing in hot weather. Consistent 90’s and 100 degree temps, it’s great. I would recommend trimming gunwales with seadeck and maybe doing a seadeck floor. That will make it more comfortable.

Yeah, big fish boxes in the deck. Facebook doesn’t let us share pictures. But the fish boxes are large and deep.

if money doesn't matter YOU TALKED ME INTO BUYING A NORTHRIVER BOAT . MADE IN BC CANADA 5208 aluminum 1/4 inch bottoms & >190 sides< . on all of the north river boats . built for canadas west coast on canadas west coast . these beasts are overkill & you have to upsize the engines for the weight . do i need that much ? i am thinking of running out to pine island & swiftsure bank , a few areas out here on the bc west coast can test you . the northriver factory is closer to my location you did get me looking , i liked your presentation , it was product informative & interesting. the raiders are a nice quality build & boat ; for the money investment ill be checking out raider boats when i see the videos come up

@@CANADAFIRST-4-TRUMP I’m confused… North River is built in Roseburg Oregon, not Canada. They use the same materials we use which is 5086 h116 on the hull plate. It’s an industry standard. Anything different is used as a cost reduction in manufacturing. Added weight really translates to minimal fuel burn difference and depending on the size, if I built say a 22’ boat with a .190” hull plate I’d recommend the same hp as we do currently.
