A scene from the Transformers G1 cartoon episode 'More Than Meets The Eye' (part one) leading into the Beast Wars episode 'The Agenda' (part three) recreated with Masterpiece figures from Hasbro, Takara and 3rd party.
Something of a mash-up video this, in the style of the G1 cartoon but following the events depicted in the later series Beast Wars.
After the prehistoric crash of the Ark, while its passengers slumber in a dim electronic half-light, an intruder from another time enters the fray, with a dangerous plan that could mean the end of everything...

Incredible stop motion. God Beast Wars/Machines was so good. G1 is great, but BW/M really took the cake with story telling. And those voice actors. They really delivered on personality.

Reports are the Coneheads were supposed to not only appear, but be active in the BW episode Nemesis Part 2, but that got cut for budget reasons.

Thanks! That was of course a recreation of the shot in the original BW ep. Where I perhaps went above and beyond was, having MP Starscream on camera, realising his chest canopy would also reflect Megatron too, and added that extra detail!

Nice use of the space bridge animation and the Cybertron arrival storm from Ultimate Doom for the time storm he created. I wonder if he ever thought about he may cease to exist as well. I could definitely see the Decepticons just continuing to conquer other planets for resources instead of "upgrading" to small, weaker, more energy efficient forms.

Thanks, yes there's a lot of elements recycled from a lot of things, you'd be surprised! Lightning I created for the Leap effect in 'Flasback' for example, is overlaid on the space bridge shot (as well as effects from MP-11 Starscream's ghost vanishing)... The Ark exterior inside the volcano is actually from a frame in the Ark/Nemesis chase, etc etc! I think Megatron knew there was a risk to himself in altering the timeline, but he was working towards a greater cause. Wonder if the Grandfather Paradox would apply if his actions had led to him never existing...?!

@@bellboy7809 Hah, well don't worry, it's confusing enough even when you know what's going on! For instance, BW is set centuries after the original TF (and initially appeared to be a reboot on an alien planet, so the prehistoric Earth/time travel G1 crossover was quite surprising). On top of that, I've basically cut a scene from 90s BW into the point in the 80s cartoon where it would/will have taken place... 🥴

Very Amazing I have found out they are now making Action Figures of Wheeljack, Bumblebee and Jazz with them changing into thier original firms they had on Cybertron before crashing on Earth. So if you were to get those you could redo the part of the very first episode of G1 that shows where Bumblebee and Wheeljack were getting the energy conductors and being chased by Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker

You're right, I've tried to make this video 'fit' with my usual vids by taking the feel and intention of the BW animation and translating it into the typical G1 toon style. Plus the CGI framerate would have meant a lot more work to replicate in stop motion!
