The timing of this video is quite telling, call me a nerd if you like but when I heard about a recent Ukrainian raid on certain key sites yesterday, I suspected some form of western commando/SF training was involved! All of that training condensed into five weeks (that we know of) is impressive, considering Royal marines go through thirty eight weeks of basic traing. Bravo RM.

The 1st 4w replaces the PRMC and is used to prepare the raw recruit to enter the 32w full training. It’s still 32w plus any back troop time of course

Ukrainian fighters: brilliant, my heart and soul goes out to them, with all hope for victory and good health for them and their families. Royal Marines: for me, the best branch of the service, they seem to have resisted some of the ridiculousness happening in other branches of the armed forces, retaining a priority of war-fighting and effectiveness over political ideology. And don't forget the Netherlands Marine Corps mentioned at the beginning of this video. I don't know so much about them but I know they work closely with British and American marines, so I'm assuming they are very good - and the fact they are contributing here should be recognised.

We've provided multiple forms of tactical and general operational training over on Ukraine almost from day 1. Its all the things the public don't see and hear and then question out defence budget and what it's for!... people don't realise the constant back and forth and exchange of value training in these shared situations and as a captain who has been out to oversee armourment and partake in home soil training of Ukrainian forces I can truly say were providing superb training and backing it up with heart and dedication to a cause we firmly belive in

I think there is more than training taking place. I heard that Royal Marines were being used for ops in Ukraine....ops that were difficult, and for which Ukrainian Special Forces lacked the training for. That was from a statement by the British Government! Britain and Ukraine are bonded now....if there is one thing Britain does well it is having a fantastic professional military.

All these little raids we see happening now have come from thsi training. I'm British but I know the RM play a small part in a bigger training picture involving most NATO Countries, but the training they've given the Ukrainians has been the reason we have seen night time raids via little boats in Crimea espically. The Russians tried it in the Odesa region and got killed instantly. All these little raids and now all these missile strikes on Russian targets well away from the frontline means one thing... Ukrainian Special Forces are now everywhere guiding in missile strikes on Russian stolen territory or the Motherland itself... God fucking bless those guys!

You are seeing the benefits of this training by the Royal Marines and of course the Netherlands and others in the latest engagements. Taking the drilling rigs in the Black sea. Further excursions around areas that open up the Crimea area raiding and causing the Russians to second guess what the Ukrainians are doing. A level of professional soldiering that Russia certainly cant compete against.

Depends, a lot of factors are involved. Some of which are the calibre of men, what they were taught vs. how much of it will be retained. Then the unknown around their command structure and what missions they will be deployed on enabling them to put those skills into action, etc.

Just want to say Thank you to our Royal Marine Commandos for helping Ukraine with their Cause, It's not often I get to show some appreciation as a British Citizen but might as well take this opportunity. Slava Ukraini! from this English man who visited Ukraine in 2019, It is surreal seeing how as a nation people were enjoying everyday lives, buying coffee etc just like here, to then having their society deliberately Targeted by the Russian Military, they do not care If Innocent people die, They are deliberately going after them and they have done on many occasions, Russia under PUTIN are guilty of State sanctioned Aggression & Murder, Markets have been bombed with Missiles/Rockets, people of towns and villages have been marched to their deaths and shot in mass graves, an elderly couple was shot to death in their car by Russian Forces, I hope this training proves useful and that Ukraine ultimately frees their Homeland, they will keep fighting, I know they will until they are free and Independent once more as they deserve to be.
