Tom Telesco seems to love this type of build In his 10 years as the Chargers GM from 2013-2023 he has a back 5’7 or smaller in a committee catching balls and getting 1k total yards Danny Woodhead (2013,(2015) Austin Ekkeler ( 2018-2023) seems very likely that this will be another prototype be a major producer catching the ball at the least

I think Dylan Laube has a chance to get up to 10 plays a game where he has a chance to make an impact. Whether it is running or catching, special teams, or whatever it may be. He is on the older end of the rookie average age at 24, so he is mature and because of that he's already ready. He can play in the slot just as well as at running back. He can pass block very well, although he will face 100x more of the talent that he faced in the FCS on an per average basis. With his grit and athleticism he should be just fine in pass protection duties after adjusting to the speed of an NFL pass rush. Maxx Crosby will get him ready for that lol Overall, The Raiders got a humongous steal, I truly believe that. I think he's got a chance to become a Raider Ledgend such as Ken Stabler, Dave Casper, Fred Biletnikoff, Gene Upshaw, Marcus Allen, Tim Brown, Charles Woodson, Howie Long, Cliff Branch, Willie Brown, Ray Guy, and Bo Jackson.
