I like that the reservoir is next to the shock body. Great video clearly explained and made me feel like I could do it

So, a while back, you put on the wilbur's shocks on one of your bikes. I remember you talking about going across the crosstown through downtown and feel like a boat in rough water. Lol, so how are these RS2 compared to the wilbur's?
@RAIDERWORLD5 ай бұрын
I’ve never ridden with Wilber’s suspension. But I can say the RS-2s are amazing 🤘🏽

Do you remember which video you were talking about? Riding across the crosstown downtown area and how the shocks were amazing. I thought it was those wilbur's, but evidently not.@@RAIDERWORLD

Its good to see something different other than Legends or Screaming Eagle. So is this your personal choice? Or sponsorship?
@RAIDERWORLD6 ай бұрын
Absolutely! This was a personal choice when they were first released. I was blown away by its performance, then truly blessed by a sponsorship on the second go around 🤘🏽

Love my RS-1s. On my 3rd pair over 3 bikes. Bar none the best aftermarket shock ive had on any of my bikes. Probably won't swap or change out for the RS-2 until it's time for another bike, but I'll forever run RWD on my bikes.

Question. I received mine today. Does it matter which side they go on, is there a Right or Left? RWD said to install the way the parts are zip tied, but the way the rings are zip tied there would be two right shocks. Are they universal? Just move the O ring to the other side? Thanks.
@RAIDERWORLD5 ай бұрын
So in the instructions, they have the mounting bolt coming in on the O-Ring/C-Clip side. I don’t really think it matters, but I would mount them like the instructions illustrate. I failed to mention that in the video
@BigSkyImagery5 ай бұрын
@@RAIDERWORLD I have received 2 right shocks then, Because the o ring/c clip side are both on the right side...

@@RAIDERWORLD It's just weird because each side is machined just a little bit different. On one side the o ring fits better than the other. (the side without the c ring, it doesn't fit the same)

Absolutely! Couldn’t ask for a better smoother ride
@scott2228Ай бұрын
If you could put a % for level of improvement what would you go with? (Over stock) The shocks I just tried cost almost $1k and didn’t improve the ride. In the process of returning. I’ve had terrible luck with suspension. I’ve yet to find one what was worth even a penny. I appreciate any additional feedback. At this point I’m going back to stock and using the $ on other Harley mods.
@RAIDERWORLDАй бұрын
It’s an absolute upgrade! I’ve ridden many suspensions, but RWD takes the cake. Anything is better than stock, but if you’re going to invest in suspension, it’s better to be sure.
@Chaplain1616 ай бұрын
Just about any aftermarket suspension is better than what comes stock on most HDs. I went with a different brand a few years ago. I really noticed the most difference with the front. No more front-end diving when you hit the front brakes and the front tire feels planted in the corners. Great video. You are really thorough in explaining and demonstrating the process of the installation.

Absolutely! Upgrading that front and rear suspension adds a whole other meaning to riding. Thank You for watching 🤘🏽

Which are S2 did you go with standard or heavy duty I ride two up with a tour pack sometimes with my girlfriend and sometimes I don't what is your suggestion

If that is how your ride on a daily basis, then I would go with a heavy duty. I went with a standard 👍🏽

Thanks for this video. RWD actually recommended your video. I ordered a set, and I'm looking forward to installing them. Question- did you have to make any sag adjustments with the spring for 2 up riding, or just adjust the compression knob? Thanks!
@RAIDERWORLD6 ай бұрын
Once I set the sag with my weight and gear only, I rode about 150+ miles, and everything felt great. I only adjusted the knob when I had a passenger, and that worked out great. Now, if you start to feel yourself bottoming out with or without a passenger, I would adjust your preload. Also, if you have saddlebag guards, check to make sure your swingarm is not making contact with that.
@BigSkyImagery6 ай бұрын
@@RAIDERWORLD Awesome, good to know! I do have the saddlebag guards, I have a ‘23 Ultra Limited. What should I be looking for, I don’t understand what you mean. Thanks!
@RAIDERWORLD6 ай бұрын
No problem at all! So you might think that suspension is bottoming out, but it could be that your swingarm is making contact with your saddlebag guard. This is due to improper pre-load. This is rare, and mostly only happens with after market bag guards.

Because I value your opinion now I have to look at a third shock to replace the stock crap Harley puts out. Also looking at JRI and Nowaskey. So far RWD are 800 less expensive which could go towards the front end. Decisions !

That’s awesome! Thank You. I absolutely enjoy this suspension from RWD, Front and Rear.
