Lumiose Trainer Zac's fanmade S&S series did the entire region, its Gym Leaders, Villians, side characters like Peonia, Swordward & Shieldbert & the Champion justice. Compared to everything the Journeys anime missed out on doing, Zac did a fantastic job with it, then anyone else could've.

You know who _also_ should have been in the Masters 8... ... as Spectators? Delia and Serena. And Raihan, Hop, Sonia, and Nessa for Leon, Dr. Sycamore for Diantha, and Cilan for Iris (and both for Ash once Iris was defeated). And if you keep Alain, i guess Mairin could come too... Heck, they should have had Raihan and either Gary or Misty as Leon's and Ash's respective Seconds/Heralds in the Final. Though i guess Goh would have made a good Herald for Ash too.

i agree with every single thing you said. He's got the best rizz, best drip, best personality and best looks. He's really strong and resilient. In my opinion Alain shouldn't have existed because there was no purpose for him. And the first battle with ash should've been Raihan, then Cynthia, then Leon. I hate how the series showed Raihan to the level of Leon but downgraded him at the ultimate moment. Well, my headcanon is happy tho lol. Great video, loved watching it! This was the best early-birthday gift for me~! I'm really grateful for what you did and wish that you reach the goal of 50k before 2025. Good luck! ♥

I feel like Alain is a wasted potential in JN, Raihan should have replaced Alain, let him fight somebody not named Leon or ash, let him win and be in the semi-finales, battle Leon, lose and have a story arc of his own

@keshavkishore05Y Is he, though? He did beat Ash in Kalos, but given Ash only reused one of his Kalos Pokémon (Pikachu), it is hard to say if Alain would have beat Ash with his Galar team. In particular, because Ash was able to beat Leon, who beat Alain with minimal difficulty. How he ranks compared to Iris is more difficult to determine as they never fought each other or had any in common opponents (besides Ash who used very different Pokémon when facing them). I personally am a bigger fan of Iris, so I acknowledge my bias. However, there is no way to establish if Alain is superior to her (unless you believe in Mega superiority, which the anime demonstrated is not always the case).

I agree that Alain shouldn't have been in the WCS, but I think it was appropriate that Raihan was the First Out, allowing each known region to have just 1 representative. The _execution_ can certainly be debated as should Iris being in the M8 before Ash, but I wouldn't replace Alain with Raihan. I'd instead replace Alain with *Geeta* . Having the Prime Champion of Paldea would be a good way to acknowledge/introduce the region. If Ash would have been kept for Gen 9, it would transfer the role of Finals opponent from Leon to Geeta, provided Ash defeated Leon in an earlier round.

Agreed, considering how Journeys did Galar dirty in many ways, Raihan being in the Masters 8 wouldve been so peak and simultaneously would show more Galar representation too 😮‍💨

Raihan deserved better. Not only in the Masters 8 but throughout all of journeys. He such a cool character, and one of my favourites from Galar. At least he got more screentime than other galar gym Leaders. THAT ALSO DESERVED MORE ATTENTION

Also the Master 8 Tournament Arc should've been a Round Robin so everyone would've gotten so much better reception and a lot more Battles that should've happened and Yes I'm also talking about Diantha and Lance who Ash absolutely should've Battled especially since the former is a Unfinished Battle between them back in Kalos. Honestly Alain should've been the Promotion Match or better yet, There should've been a Promotional Tournament where one or two Trainers would've made it into the Masters 8 Tournament Plus you could fill it out with Blast From The Characters like Ritchie, Casey, Tyson and maybe Elite Four Members that either had or hadn't been in the Anime Series for a long time or not at all.

Also I definitely would want you to do a Video on how The Pokemon World Championships/Pokemon Corrination Series should've had more Battle Festivals and Tournaments since that could've massively cut down the endless fillers and would've given a whole lot more Character Development for a lot of People and Pokemon respectively. You should also have Aleximo (he made a Video involving Tournament Arcs where to place them in The Pokemon Anime Series)and a few other PokeTubers help you out with that.

Realistically, the WCS should have lasted _2_ Generations, and the reason why it didn't was because it was the substitute for the Galarian Badge Quest. Gen 8 should have ended with Ash _entering Ultra_ rather then him ascending to Shogun. Alain, Iris, and Nemona could have been his rivals for Gen 9 in that case, though you could argue that Virgil should replace Alain in that scenario. Conversely, extending through Gen 9 would have allowed us to see Misty, Clemont, and Gladion, the rest of Ash's future Elite Four besides Iris, taking on Galarian and Paldean Gym Leaders in Normal & Great classes. I'd still have Raihan as being relegated by Ash at the end of Gen 9, but here he would have had his M8 shot. And he would probably have lost to Cynthia or Geeta before Leon was overthrow.

@Donald_the_Potholer Actually realistically Pokemon Journeys should've been 4-5 Seasons long rather than just the typical 3 Season format because There's parts that felt rushed and unfinished as well as far too many filler and lots of Character Development was wasted plus not using every one of his Pokemon and not catching more than just 5-6 Pokemon which would've worked better here than Black And White's attempt. There's also the fact that Kanto has way too much attention and It caused Galar to suffer heavily from underrepresentation and I find myself thinking that Pokemon Journeys should've taken place after Scarlet And Violet instead because The DLC would've led to the reveal of Iris being the Champion 🏆 and setting up that development later on down the line.

Wall Raihan did participate in the Masters8th in Zanolith Rewrite of Pokémon Journeys would a high recommend you go check it out is way better than the anime and same with Zactoshi Sword and Shield Series if you want more Galar representation

Ok, so a couple of things: If Raihan was included, my boy Alain would've most likely been the one to be booted from the roster and that just makes me sad Taking Alain's place also means that Raihan's now the one that gets washed in half a episode, which doesn't feel like a great ending to his story either Having Raihan replace Steven or Cynthia would've been more impactful character-wise, but I feel like the anime purposefully had Ash run the top 3 strongest trainers gauntlet, and that doesn't leave room for a Raihan vs Ash match Replacing Diantha with Raihan so that Raihan can beat Lance and then face Leon in the semi-finals does sound like a good idea, but I really like how every champion was included I believe they included every champion cause they knew the series was ending, so this was their last chance to showcase the strongest that the anime world had to offer So while it would make sense that the champions should've been too busy to attend the tournament, it would've been hard to take the Masters 8 seriously as the world's strongest if the current champions were absent Out of the 8 participants, 7 of them being champions that needed to shine during round 1 inevitably means that the 8th member has to be a jobber, and they decided they'd rather have Alain for that role instead of Raihan or any other trainer

Are you talking about the game or animated version? Because he definitely is not in the games. And I don't think he is in the anime either. His brief possession of Mewtwo would have been the only thing giving him the high rank, and he hasn't had Mewtwo in forever.
