I love how Clive is completely different from the average Tekken 8 aggressive character: it feels like a real tank, all about patience, good punishes, spacing and big risky launchers that you have to time perfectly. Playing him feels like a completely different game, in a good way

What’s done is done right, but man there are so many more cool options that make more sense (DOA,Bloody Roar,Vitua Fighter.. sheeeit even "Soulcalibur" that’s Namco for Fxck sakes 🤦‍♂️ Cervantes has a sword ⚔️ 🤷‍♂️

At this point, I believe they could probably just make a final fantasy fighting game. They already have Noctis and Clive. I'm confident they could do the whole series main characters as a roster.

Same engine. YES. Same mechanics. No. SC movement is defined by 8 way run and block button. That's what makes the game unique from Tekken apart from the weapons and all.

@@Immortal_Bug We did have a Final Fantasy fighting game, but it was relegated to the PSP, and when they finally brought it to actual consoles, they fucked it up making it a 3v3 team fighter and making it clunky.

@OriginalCrazyJay24 Yeah, I own all 3 dissidia games. The console 3v3 definitely ruined us ever getting another but those are 3d arena brawlers, I'm talking more of it actually being handled by the Tekken team and playing like Tekken. I think they did a great job with Noctis and Clive.
