The combo with the rain makes the light show even cooler!

Great catch! As a signal guy, I work with the Grinder from time to time when it's in my area. They are a very high tech bist of gear and grind down to very fine tolorrences . The only issue with them , apart from fires, is the grinding dust they leave behind! These tiny bits of metal can get suck in insulated joints and cause track faults , though this is not very common. AS you say , they are great to see at night and always cool to see operating. Cheers, Gregg.

Thank you for watching, and the neat information on the grinders! I never thought of the dust getting into the joints, and causing track faults.

Thank you thank you for finally doing something. Jaw Tooth never did. I used to watch his rail, grinding videos and he never ever ever showed us what the result was. Thank you so much.

Glad you enjoyed it, and liked it! Too many times we see the action action happening, but never the after results. I wanted to make sure I included it, and WHY they do this operation.

Saw it sitting in the Fridley yard last Friday. Great catch & the night video is impressive.

Pretty sure ive driven past this engine before. Was wondering what it was for since the cabin is different from all the normal engines used in the US

These certainly have a unique look to them! They look the coolest when working away at night.

Does it sound loud when the rail grinds?
@SD457500Ай бұрын
Very much so; imagine a large number of angle grinders working together, and all at once. Thanks for the comment, and watching!

is there a schedule or someone to contact to know when they're going through cpkc lines?
@SD4575005 ай бұрын
There sadly isn't; all of that information is kept under wraps. :/ Thanks for the comment, and watching!
