I have never seen a worse interview. When did Kate Burley start thinking she was working for Line Of Duty? I have never seen an interviewer be so rude, disrespectful, biased and hostile. She so clearly has an agenda. She accuses Mr Lynch of name calling when he didn't, she implies that he is ridiculing her when Mr Lynch's answers remain sensible (even though the tone of her questions is indeed ridiculous), she implies picket lines are necessarily violent and thuggish when clearly they are not, she claims to be clarifying the situation when she is obviously trying her best to mischaracterise the situation to the detriment of the railway workers. Sky should be ashamed of this clip, not putting it on KZbin. Does this show how ridiculously biased the mainstream media's coverage of this industrial dispute is, or is it just Sky News? Shocking.

As far as I se it from the outside, these two are showcasing together the situation. She pretends to be the representative of 'the people', but in fact she is wording the position of het government the tries to stay out of the conflict. Her channel and the British media in general are obfuscating the position of the workers, and in this way she gives him the opportunity to lay out their position for the audience. They are both in a play, and they know it: at the end she can't keep her laughter down. At no other channel I have seen the position of the workers so well explained: finally it all makes sense, apart from the fact that the tory government is trying to eradicate the unions, but in a much more stupid way than Thatcher did. This government is running the UK into the ground, and try to maximise their profits as long as they can hold their position. The British people have been polite, as the Russian people were to Putin, and now finally they stand. It is breath taking.

What a nightmare interview. Why was she so combative? Her tone was rude, unprofessional, it's not her job to take a side, she is there to ask questions on behalf of the public. Well done to Mr Lynch for keeping it straightforward. I also like the fact that he called out mistruths. It's going to be a long summer ppl, buckle up.

It would be no surprise if there is a repeat of the riots of 2011. Law breaking is not acceptable, however unrest on the streets cannot be ruled out. I doubt the claimed 12,000 police on the streets of London actually happened in 2011 to stop the riots, not least because there were no pictures of the massed ranks of police on any television channel. Police cuts ( they have been reversed but it will take time to cancel this out entirely) will make it far more difficult to keep the lid on it this time and the anger is even greater than 2011.

I have seen Kay Burley do some very good interviews in the past but this was just dreadful. What was it she was trying to imply? That the picket lines are full of violent yobs? That the unions are responsible for people dying? That the unions have no moral right to strike and therefore must accept compulsory redundancies and wage rises well below inflation even when management and shareholders are being paid very handsomely? An appalling interview that is a stain on her reputation. She should be ashamed of this performance.

Mick Lynch's logic is impeccable. He's a champion, unflustered and proud. What a revelation. He's made fools out of the idiotic journalists and ministers. Wonderful stuff. Our family are reasonably well off financially, not struggling like so many others in the post-Brexit madness, and support him and his union wholeheartedly. A brave man.

Next up she repeats a lie about Mick not meeting with tories. Mick tells her its a lie, she demands to know why Grant Shapps would lie (...because thats what tories do...)
