At 11:00 minutes the presenter is stating that East African countries have already supported Baba. What a sweeping assumption! Don't believe is East African unity. It is non existent. There is deep mistrust between Kwnya and ots meighbours. The Elemi triangle ownership pits Kenya against South Sudan. The frequent fish control saga in the environs of Migingo island is a bone of contention between Kenya and Uganda. A claim of petroleum rish marine areas in the environs of Lamu pits Somalia agains Kenya. Kenyan commercial planes operating between Kenya and Somaliland is a bone of contention between the two countries. As for DRC, Tshisekedi will not vote for Baba because the Kenyan troops that had praised by Kenyan media as having gone to crash M23 spent minths without even punching one M23 fighter. Ofcourse Djibouti would not vote for Baba. Most Francophone countries might not vote for an Anglophone candidate. Then there is the influence of religion. This might contribute significantly on the choice of candidates.

Most likely the Djibouti candidate. First of all, the Kenyan candidate is likely to get 0 votes from East Africa due to their strong mistrust for Kenya. The Kenyan candidate might not get much support from the Francophone voters sine they prefer to support fellow Francophone candidates. Djibouti is a Francophone country. Then there is the question of religion. It could influence the voting. Also, the Kenyan candidate has one of the largest, companies in Africa that manufacture gas containers for a fossil-based gas used for cooking and heating. Hence, the company makes much money from a major greenhouse gas. Any voter that is concerned with the mitigation of greenhouse gases is likely not to vote for a major player in greenhouse gases' industry.
