I headed down to Virginia for vacation and decided to do a bit of rail fanning around the Shenandoah Valley area!! I went out for my birthday on May 30th and it was a pretty successful day catching 3 different railroads on the former Chesapeake and Western line!! First train of the day we saw BB Z light power pulling in to the SV yard to pick up some outbounds!! Shortly after we then caught SV-LOCAL departing the yard with DGVR 367 light! After chasing SV-LOCAL I stuck around the area where their interchange with NS is and I got word that NS V93 would be heading this way to pick up and drop off cars!! I headed up north a bit to catch them working some industries right before they came down to the interchange for the SV!! After chasing around the Harrisonburg area I headed over to Elkton, VA on the way back to see if anything was in the area!! Not even there for 30 minutes and NS 12T came through!! It was definitely a good trip and was nice to see some new things!! I hope y’all enjoy and as always thanks for the love and support!!
