Thanks! They're usually occasional due to power shortages and in my area we have a UP/CSX run-through Z-train (The ZATLC/Q145 which runs from Atlanta to LA and the ZLAJX/Q180 that runs from LA to Jacksonville) that occasionally have CSX units as well

Thanks! My luck really did come true! Next time when I get an older UP AC44 leader, I'm hoping it's gonna have an older K3LA since this one had a 3rd gen K3, but at least I was glad to accomplish something.

Great video! I heard a crew report 4 trespassers at Rosenberg between the tracks taking pictures of trains on my scanner.

Thanks! Unfortunately it happened to be us while me, Texas Railfan, *****, and TX Trainiac were railfanning yesterday at Rosenberg. After hearing what the BNSF crews were saying on the scanner, we had to run into the museum and hide there to avoid getting into trouble, and it sucked.

When I was in Conroe last right when UP 4684 was approaching the interlock a UP crew was reporting trespassers at Conroe while a UP Maintenance truck drove by. But the truck never stopped and said anything. There was a man a block away taking pictures of the trains too maybe it was him.

Neat catches! I've gotta say that UP rock train running 2x3 was pretty odd. That ain't the usual for a UP rock train. But hey, now we know it can happen. So, cool catch!

Thanks. Yeah, it was weird to see a UP rock train running 2x3 since those aren't everyday things. But lately I've been seeing a lot of empty unit trains having DPUs, and I think it has to do with cheaper costs and fuel efficiency

This was a pretty sweet outing, lots of action. But yeah, don't get discouraged with your mom. School is just a bit more important. Keep the grades up, show mom you can do it, and you'll be back out doing what you love before you know it.
