Every time I get out of the house I go across this crossing as I live not too far from it and as far back as I can remember these signals have protected the crossing and the traffic lights always flashed the same way and is an absolutely wonderful place to watch trains! As of 2019 there was a recent accident where a pick up truck went around the gates and was struck by a CSX freight which makes no sense because there are so many red lights here you would think he would’ve thought that maybe the right thing to do is stop. Absolutely great video of a great location! I do know a few crossings that are very cool with their equipment in this town. There’s the crossing on Morrison road, Tillotson Avenue, The intersection of Godman Avenue and Hutchison Avenue which have a couple vintage signals one with Raco lights and one with US&S lights, Nichols Avenue which has one signal with modern industries 8 inch lights, and The old crossing next to the Wendy’s on Madison Street which have vintage US&S cantilevers with all the original US&S Lights although I have never seen a train cross the Madison Street crossing. Anyways great video and I hope you’ll take some of these locations and check them out they are really awesome! Oh another location I think that’s kind a cool is the crossing on Perieu Road which one of the signals has an old safetran S 85 gate mechanism!

Amazing how they can time the traffic lights to begin flashing when the gates go down.

Well, after the track clearance when the back lights change to green until the crossing's fully down, then the lights flash red.
