Vialis EBAs are boring in finland. I not understand why Väylävirasto replaces all outstanding sounding mechanical bells with these "50kr toy piano sound"- bells.

Oh I like the AGA one, they have a nice long reverberating sound to them ;) Do the blue/white barriers indicate that crossing is for pedestrians/cyclists? I've seen it more, but can't figure out why they differ.

Blue/white barriers are used only on stations and they are called Plattformsbommar (plattform barriers)

@@Hissen3000 Ah thanks! Our platform barriers used to differ as well in the past (bells and barriers, but no lights on the pole or barrier and no crossbucks). Since 15 years or so they are now adding lights and crossbucks to the poles and they now also place signs like at normal crossings.

The bues and LP are the favorite e-bells cause they sound so convincing. Maybe they can play around with the pitch and speed to make them sound like the old classics.

Vialis EBAs are the worst. Sounds just like a child plays an 50kr cheap toy piano. AGA has the most amazing and best sound. Second best are the KLD ones. And I own two Friedland Masterbells from an KONE M elevator modernizations which getting modernized again with OTIS REM and VEGA Achille cheap fixtures. It is totally boring mod but I getting the amazing alarm bells and Strömberg induction motors from the original mod.

The Finnish sound is actually the worst. Original and Swedish sounds bit better.
