I actually fall asleep during these because the sounds are so soothing when the train is going across the tracks

I love your stuff! May we please see an update video for the County Road 100 crossing in Anderson, Indiana from your 2010 video and the Hanna Avenue/Shelby Street crossing in Indianapolis? The crossing on Shelby and Hanna has seen some major changes. As of October 2016, the Little shop of Horrors doesn’t exist anymore (not the main change;just throwing it out) and one of the two crossings got new cantilever signals. And it’s the side with the bells so, it now has electronic bells. Don’t know what type they are though.

I desperately want to go back to Shelby and Hanna! That was one of the first ones I'd done and I like to think I've gotten a little better at this ;) . I passed through there since the changes. i hope to get there soon and start collecting but I can't give a timeframe.

wisecrac99 sounds good! I’m excited to see it in action but then again, don’t rush! I imagine it’s not busy since it’s a shortline most likely. How’s the County Road 100 crossing doing? Any updates to the Signals? I really love that one too since that crossing is actually how I discovered your channel. My other problem is that google maps tends to hurt you in the street view thing. I look at it constantly. I even associate my secondhand interests with trains on it too but, it gets aggravating often when they refuse to do an update of it! They just leave it at 2013 or worse 2007. Especially rural areas.

A 3 gate crossing is rare, there is a 3 gate in Jacksonville. At St. Johns Ave. & Roseavelt Blvd ( US17)..Flicker lights? Never seen those before..video#1 I reference.
@TheTrainStationinc6 жыл бұрын
The flicker isn't what you see with the naked eye. It's an effect caused between the frame rate of the camera and the way LEDs work. LEDs aren't actually a steady emission of light, they do in fact "flicker", but they do it so fast you can't really see it, but sometimes cameras pick it up. If you watch some videos and see the lights fade or roll out as if they are malfunctioning that too is just the camera. Try this and you might see what I mean. The next time you are at a red traffic light that is LED, look at the light and then slightly to the right of it then back at it as fast as you can. I'll be faint but you see a glimpse of the flicker.

In the first clip, why are the lights yellow?
@TheTrainStationinc6 жыл бұрын
It is just how they sometimes appear in a video, they are red.
