Railroad Museum Visits

This video contains photographs from the following railroad museums I and a friend have visited: Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke, Virginia in 1985; California State Railway Museum in Sacramento, California by a friend in 2018 and 2019; Illinois Railroad Museum in Union, Illinois in 1980; Pennsylvania Train Museum and Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg, Pennsylvania in 1977; and National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1979.

I was trained on GG-1’s on how to operate Passenger and Freight Trains. Operated GG-1’s right up until they were retired on NJT in October 1983. It was a extremely reliable and extremely powerful Electric Locomotive

They should rebuild 763 for excursion service. She was a great engine and a big favorite of many NKP crews.
