Why not enjoy sights and sound of 37405/408/425, 20 years ago, as they thrash to the top of the Valley with their old Virgin stock. I'm trackside as well as on the platforms capturing the old signal boxes, semaphore signals and token exchanges for the single track north of Bargoed

Happy New Year, Mike. Sharing footage of 37s at work in The Valleys was an excellent choice of subject matter with which to start 2025. I note 37405 is currently one of HNRC's Tango-livered locos.

Shame 37408 was withdrawn after a shunting incident at Rhymney. Kinda hoped it would live on a bit longer, being a favourite of mine.
