19:56 Someone PLEASE give Anthony an award. His voice acting peaked here. The fact that he can go from Barry and Pat's silly voice to Buzz's squeaky voice to Anthony Manor's dark, profound and rageful voice is amazing.

So my thoughts on the new boys: Hannes the GWR 5700 pannier tank: I like him, willing to give Mr. Stard a chance. Eric the BR Standard 4 2-6-4 tank: The newest of the new ones, will probably need to learn some things. And Ivan the GWR 6100 Large Prairie: Not the social type, he's more likely than not going to get along VERY well with Hart Hall.

Mr Knox and Mr Dickinson are really playing a dangerous game right now. Because the moment they are discovered to be behind everything that happened on the railway ( at least the parts of Mr stard wasn't involved in) it will seriously damage the reputation of British Railways. also all of the engines I believe their lies will face just as well. I mean two of them were willing to commit murder of another engine just to get ahead! Also that Hall seems to be deillusional . because I can't recalled A single time Mr Knox has referred to him other than his number. plus I bet they would send him for scrap the moment He becomes a problem. Also I would bet any engine loyal to Mr stard would then begin chastising the engines loyal to British railways for being part of the murderers that happened. I think their world will really be shaken up realizing they had been on the wrong side from the beginning! I would highly suggest Mr Knox and Mr Dickinson pay Close attention to what they're going to do now. especially Mr Knox. he is going to start a very dangerous game that she is set to lose. and when he does everything will be revealed and British railways will be in a worse situation than Mr Start.

Another great episode! Loved every moment, but the scene between Anthony and Stard was the best. Such a great emotional moment showing the consequences of Stard's actions despite his good intentions to preserve the railway. Anthony's outburst shows how much work and effort Stard will have to put in if he wants his forgiveness, which i hope he will get in the future.
@TheSaint4915 ай бұрын
Thing is, stard ain’t perfect, neither party is. Stard seems to lack any perception or idea of how his words could be misinterpreted, such as the hart hall incident, or how one joke that only he gets will affect someone else, like Anthony manor. That is, until it’s too late. And br is just a corporation, focused on the bottom line rather than the engines well being.

Our new arrivals seem very interesting too (and I'm always happy to see some large tank engines in the mix) - I can't wait to see how they settle in and what kind of shenanigans and hi-jinks that they get drawn into. Amazing work, looking forward to seeing more soon!

Chris, I must say this episode was absolutely phenomenal, with a lot of interesting plot points to go over - I duly apologise for the length of this comment 😂 The confrontation between Dickinson & Knox at the start was tense to say the least. With things having gone quiet regarding the construction site, it was interesting to see it brought up here - it finally becomes apparent, too, that ore mining seems to have been the intent behind this operation. Quite some satisfaction was had seeing that Mr. Knox's plans have gone up the swanny thanks to the BR Board deciding to focus on salvaging the line's reputation, though it's highly implied through Mr. Dickinson's comments that this was done, in part at least, to punish Knox for 'twisting the hand of fate' as he put it - great to see Mr. Dick has enough sense to penalise Knox for his role in setting up such a deadly accident. It's safe to say Dickinson needs to watch himself though, one doesn't tend to make enemies of Mr. Knox and get away with it! Speaking of Mr. obKnoxious, I must admit I'm intrigued to see what direction his character will take going forward. He's fallen out of Mr. Dickinson's good graces, and now that his ore mining plans have been torn from under him, he's absolutely incensed and making dark threats behind his back. It does make me wonder what direction he'll take - on the one hand, this could serve to intensify Mr. Knox's hatred of Mr. Stard and may ultimately lead to his undoing by the end of the season, but on the other hand, it's possible (if highly unlikely) that this may give him less of a reason to oppose Stard...? From what I could see, Mr. Knox gave off some mixed messages upon accosting Mr. Stard on the platform; he was quite confrontational at first, then seemed to ease off and become a bit more tolerant as their conversation went on. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but it's a plot point to watch regardless. Hardwick making an appearance was quite the surprise, and getting into it with Hart Hall in defence of his brother goes to show what kind of relationship he maintains with Buck. It's interesting that he claims ignorance as to Buck's whereabouts when asked by those in the fleet, given what's been alluded to in ToNW. In saying that, though, he's clearly doing his best to act in his sibling's best interests, trying to protect Buck from further grief while simultaneously urging Ramsey and the others to have some faith in him. It was good to see a brief but enlightening scene with Thor, too. His appearance in this episode is the first time we've seen him properly this season, and although he only speaks a couple of lines, it gives a good insight into what impact the events of the last season have had on him. It's quite sad to see how the events of Gregory's accident have affected him long term, he's essentially gone from being more happy and outgoing up to the mid-point of S2 to being moody and depressive in the present day, although I can't blame him given the sheer horrors he saw first-hand on the scene of the accident. The trauma of seeing one of his of colleagues, who he would've seen or even spoken to just a day earlier, lying dead in the water just doesn't bear thinking about - and this is before one takes into account hearing the screams of dying passengers too. With this in mind, his cold manner towards Mr. Stard is perfectly understandable given he played a part in the events that lead up to the crash; I'd reckon this reasoning also accounts for Axle's coldness towards Stard, which was alluded to in the previous episode. Seeing some new additions to the R&CHR's fleet was a pleasant surprise, with each seeming to vary in their individual personalities, Hannes being more polite and outgoing in contrast to Eric and Ivan for example; I'd be interested to see how he'll react on learning of Hart's attempted murder of one of his siblings though. As regarding stances, I'd wager Hannes may end up leaning towards Stard, Eric will more than likely be siding with BR thanks to King Dick's biased meddling, and Ivan seems so antisocial neither side stands much hope of getting him on board, so he'll likely remain neutral in a similar vain to Rab. Seb's derailment comes across as a key plot point setting up future events, a sleeper being placed across the tracks seems a strong indicator of foul play - the key question is, who's responsible? On the one hand, this feels like it was Mr. Knox's doing, since he seems to have a knack for setting up accidents. On the other hand, though, perhaps this would be a bit obvious given he's becoming known for it, meaning someone else could've been behind the act e.g. a staff member who lost friends/relatives on board that passenger train, for instance? Last but by no means least, I must say I thoroughly enjoyed seeing more insight into Anthony Manor's character. That flashback showing his and Gregory's first interaction on the latter's first day was nice to see and was effective in shedding some light on their relationship - Anthony effectively taking Gregory in and befriending him when nobody else on the R&CHR would give him a chance. The mention of King Richard telling the 5MT to clear off so soon after his arrival was unexpected; not only does this give a strong impression that Richard never truly cared about Gregory, but also demonstrates that even he was not necessarily above Mr. Stard's influence back in the day. The confrontation between Mr. Stard and Anthony Manor was a tense sequence, and definitely one of the best moments in the show's history thus far. Anthony Manor is quickly becoming a firm favourite from my point of view thanks to his unique standpoint and understandable motivations setting him apart from the BR loyalists as well as Anthony's impeccable voice acting. It's clear from the sheer ferocity and cathartic nature of Anthony's outburst that he's kept these feelings of hatred and resentment shut up for a good few years, made all the more worse by Stard's comments and behaviour towards Gregory. Bearing in mind, too, that Mr. Stard seemed deeply shaken by Anthony's outburst even after leaving the scene, perhaps this will serve as a wake-up call - I do hope Mr. Stard and Anthony can make amends to some degree in the future, though it's fair to say that's looking highly unlikely at present. Regardless, I'm particularly invested in seeing what else is in store for Anthony - he's another character who's storyline could go either way now that he's vented a lot of bottled-up feelings...

i have a slight feeling that 1025 Ramsey will be next in line of either dead or injured, the reason is most of his loyal locos are on the spear branch (safe heaven from BR), 5767 in the mines in trusted private hands and Reggie being on Stovell's island. Which leaves Ramsey on the mainline, still own by BR and cant get on the branch as he is too fat. And i wonder where is 7227? Seb's incident have a high chance of being sabotaged by one of the volunteers that is spying for BR or knox (or even one of the victims family/friends) hoping one of stards loco will suffer the same fate as Greggory for revenge... I also want to see either Hart or Richard trying to influence the other 2 newbies, especially 6140 and see how things turn out in the future. For bucklebury, im sorry but the main plot right now is on fire so i dont really care about him atm as he is still having shell shock of clint's potential head on crash. The Anthony scene could mean that we are started to get more even now and see why all the BR lads dislikes Stard in the 1st place with their introduction on the line perhaps? or maybe the writing team is trying to push some people to BR sides as majority of the audience is siding with stard atm which is odd as in reality both Stard and BR is on a even playing field as no one is 100% good or 100% bad. Hardwicke 6818 maybe denotes how the two series (RTR and SVR) are merging together and maybe more over arcing plots. In my opinion, i want to see the next episode focusing on Knox and stards relationships because maybe, juuuuuust maybe. Knox could be siding with stard in the future as he got backstabbed by BR as hes plan is in the bin right now because of their polar differences in their actions and how they treat engines which could have an effect on the railway as a whole. finally, i want to see more of 7837 and hes back stories with Anthony as he gets introduced to the railway (maybe some of anthony getting jealous of him being perfect from the start?) and i like Reggie will go along with the young manor quite well as they are both young and have experienced a crap load of stuff already...

Everyone's been making the "Eric's number spells boobs" joke note seeing the other meaning of boob. Honestly, I see everything ending up with everyone being made right boobs. It's all out there to see. Something else to consider is just how real the phrase "Keep your friends close but your enemies closer" is becoming minute by minute. While some may hate him, the incident with Seb is worrying to say the least and it's a case of who's gonna go first or who the next victim will be. Would Anthony be next? I mean, he's already backed out after the fiasco with Reilly and then the fallout of his tell tale moves that ended with Gregory's life being snuffed and his relation with Thor just like Gregory-Dead. And to add to the next victim, Mr. Dickinson. His removal of the mining operations of Mr. Knox will drive him to get what he wants...no matter the cost. "No price is too high" springs to mind. Who knows what's to come? All that can be said is watch the show and place your bets.
