The name Big Boy actually belongs to the famous Union Pacific Big Boy’s here in the United States of America. They are the world’s largest steam locomotives with now only 8 of them preserved, including their amazing Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 (Built by American Locomotive Company in November 1941), which is now in operation by the Union Pacific Railroad on their heritage fleet for excursion trips since returning back to service the first time in 2019.
