Beautiful! Reminds me of rail journeys taken in my childhood to Assam, and crossing the mighty Brahmaputra. In rail folk lore, it was said that the entire train used to be over the river for a good five minutes while crossing it. Rivers are truly the lifeline of our country.

To be precise, Darokeswar meets Silaboti river in Ghatal which flows into a single stream with the name Rupnarayan. Rupnarayan farther flows towards south-east and meets Mundeswari river ( 70% volume of Damodar) near Bakshi/Mankur and there it acquires it's Mammoth size. Basically water of the 3 rivers makes it so huge. It finally meets Hoogly/Ganga near Gadiara (north)/Roychak (east bank)/Geonkhali (west bank) which is far away from Tamluk.

Great video indeed. But wrong information. প্রথমতঃ দ্বারকেশ্বর আর শিলাই নদীর মিলিত প্রবাহের নাম রূপনারায়ণ। দ্বিতীয়ত, তমলুকে গঙ্গা নেই, ফলে তমলুকের কাছে গঙ্গার সঙ্গে রূপনারায়ণের মিলনের তথ্য ঠিক নয়। গেঁওখালির কাছে গঙ্গা (হুগলী নদী), রূপনারায়ণ ও দামোদর এক হয়ে গেছে। ধন্যবাদ।🙏🏾😊
