Railway Recollections Part V Even Further Down The Line

When Steam Railways began to disappear in the USA, American railfans began to look to Canadian branch line operations to ride & take photos. Jim Van Brocklin took his movie camera & tape recorder & captured the sights & sounds of these trains before they retired. This tape complements RR004 which featured CPR trains. Canadian National Railways double headers & steam action at Bayview Junction., Port Dover, Guelph etc. will delight all.

A lifetime of 16mm photography here. I go back to 1960s trackside photography as well, starting with 6167, then 6218 and 6060. Great editing; this is a video for grownups!!

Wow. I feel honored to have watched this. I'm thinking about all the money you must have spent buying film to shoot all this. Film was not cheap in the 50ths. Then development also, yes quite an expense! Thanks injoyed watching.
