That shot of balloon car 700 running down the street in fleetwood made me melt.

What a fantastic production, what a shame there is nothing like this now.

Mr. Found I wish that this lovely series had lasted longer. If it were still going today you'd be getting a order from across the pond. I love railways and always will and I found your Garden Railway series brilliant in both writing and production. I wish you luck in any Rail based endeavors you partake in.

Excellent presentation by the way. A few things have changed, Blackpool Trams for example.

Excellent. If you could produce this now as an online subscription service - similar to Trainmasters TV in the USA - I would almost cetainly subscribe. Noel

Brilliant programmes - such a pity that it did not take off - living in Canada at the time so was unaware of its existence otherwise I would have subscribed.

You should do a video on Great Western Railway Broad Gauge.

When the guy is talking about the brakes on the Trevithick road-locomotive he says "Cut off the steam and step on the brake..." Wouldn't you also have to move it to mid gear, or some early equivalent? Wonderful vids. Thanks for sharing them with us here.

You would think the best thing to do is put it in slight reverse gear , so the cylinders act as a brake

Thought about doing something similar Mr Found using the internet, now that production costs are much lower? How many years ago were those excellent Model Railway programmes first broadcast?

+applecounty got to be about ten years ago, hasn't it? I have thought about doing something similar - still need some dosh though to do all the filming but...you never know. I really ought to get of my arse and film some layouts though...

Trams, show to me the absence of art in design. Everything looks like a computer generated public toilet.
