Very nice teaching sir. You have good concept. God bless you!

Thank you sir for the in-depth analysis of negative cant. As we know that transition curves are avoided at points and crossings. For diverging tracks, if we provide simple circular curves, how can we attain cant/superelevation? Could you please provide an example using a 1 in 12 or 1 in 8.5 turnout?

There is concept of virtual transition in such cases. I have explained it in my video on Safe speed on curves.

(11.31) Martin's formula for the transition curve for bg/mg Vmax=4.35(R-67)^.5 km/h for ng Vmax=3.65(R-6)^.5 km/h this is right.

Yes, it is correct. But Martin's equation is no longer in use for BG and MG lines. New equations are based on theoreticla considerations.

Sir Why we take e(theoritical) to calculate the restricted speed. On main track. why not use e(actual)?
@SatishIITR8 ай бұрын
Theoretical e gives you higher speed that can be maintained on the track without much fear of derailment and discomfort to passengers.
