I hadn’t heard this story since childhood, and your reading of the tale was very moving to me for some reason. Beautifully done and so relaxing! I actually had to go back to listen to the second half this morning lol! A return to simpler times, with some good lessons to put aside resentments and forgive those who have wronged you. Tonight I was hospitalized and listening to this really helped me fall asleep. I loved this. Wasn’t happy with there being no justice for arabella though at the end with the sisters and stepmom and that the dad stayed with her after she straight up abused his daughter :/ but otherwise, really loved the story and your voice.

I'm glad u did t make the slippersnglass. They're mistranslated as an original of "fur" in French by some, but were instead a now antique French word for a rare, small furry animal like a squirrel but not a squirrel (I forget the name of the animal). Worn by royatly and the very ruch becasue the animal was rare, sort of lkme the English royalty and their ermine. But * not * "verre" or "vair"(fur), as is sometimes aimed. It's a * very * old story, many hundreds of years, some say thi7safns (ancient Egylf). I liked that u kept it to "slippers".
