I just had the Lnk2 installed with a complete esp tm2 controller. My router is installed behind the wall that the Rain Bird is installed.. Complete junk..the system won’t connect. So I just had my inside replaced with this outside panel ..complete waste of money..a huge mistake.

worked 4 me , make sure blue light is flashing on LNK2 WiFi Module and that your bluetooth on your device is on .

LNK "1" is very temperamental and from my own experience you need a very strong nearby wifi signal to be reliable. Not so convenient when the controller is likely to be outside and some distance from the router. You basically need a wifi booster sitting next to the reticulation controller for it to work. So is LNK2 better and can existing LNK1 owners get a free upgrade to something that works in a real world reticulation setting without the need for a wifi booster?

It's ridiculous you charge $100 for a $10 part, especially when other manufacturers have built in app capability.

Yep, waste of space so far. Won’t ever connect. Might as well just do it manually, which has its drawbacks as well. Wish installer had used hunter.
