So much nostalgia, combined with amazing music that's stood the test of time. Definitely better with age. I've listened to so much music, so much metal, it's hard to pick out a few albums, but even after hearing and enjoying hundreds upon hundreds of albums, Of Malice and the Magnum Heart still remains top 3 for me. There aren't a lot of videos on YT that I continually come back to view and listen to, but this is one of them. I have lost track of how many times I have watched this live set. I feel that there aren't a lot of bands that sound as good live as they do on their albums, but this is not the case with Misery Signals. While Of Malice and the Magnum Heart still sounds great to me after all these years, their live performance of the album is absolutely amazing. The production for this recording sounds excellent and not overly-produced; the videography was tastefully done (not overly-"artsy", no crazy angles, and not changing views every two seconds); the band is so absolutely talented, yet they still made a few very minor mistakes, and I love that because it shows that they are human; and the band is so passionate about their craft and the message they share in their lyrics. I am thankful for bands like Misery Signals, this album, and this live recording done by Rain City Recordings. Keep rockin', dudes.
