Oh I missed this sound. So glad I can find it again! I was in a work program where we do things for the U.S Forest Service, BLM, and several other organizations that manged wild life resources. It was a two month program where we lived in tents the entire time. We cleaned up camp sites, repaired benches, cleared out invasive species (I did not know you could go to war with plants lol, but we did!), and hauled boards 2 miles down a trail to make a walkway over ankle deep mud. I absolutely loved it. No matter how challenging it was, it gave me a lot to work with to figure out my future as a field worker. I want to help restore ecosystems, and now I know there's a lot of ways to do that. From managing wild plant nurseries, to building trails that encourage people to see why we need nature in the first place. I can't wait to go back.

Having spent time in a country that had incredibly low rainfall, like 10mm per annum and coming from New Zealand I must say I found it hard not having that relaxing sound on the roof. I absolutely love the rain!!

This rain remynds me of a simpler time, when the music’s was better and I had simpler responsibility’s. People were kinder to their naybours and the colours we’re brighter. My gay best friend loved the sound of this rain and would listen to it during the last, long month’s of his life. He died four days ago and I miss him already, full of nostalja and feeling’s. I can't sleep as I have allergies which block my nose bad & so I cannot breath comfortably through my nose so end up mouth breathing which then dries my mouth and that becomes uncomfortable. I cannot win & while this video is comforting, its not working on me tonight 😔
