These sounds remind me of being in my parent's country as a little girl and hearing the rain hit hard on the tin roof! So relaxing and calming in the middle of the night knowing you had a sturdy roof over your head! I've slept with a fan running for years, but recently my fan lost power and wasn't doing the trick anymore. I tried a few different dark screen white noise videos before finding this one, and now it's what I use every single night. I'm sleeping better than I ever did with the fan. I grew up in a Pacific Northwest USA rain forest, around 100 inches of rain a year, and where I live now we're lucky to see a third of that. Torrential rain is soothing to me, like a lullaby.

I usually go with wind sounds (box fans) to be exact. This is the first time I’ve used rain/storm and it’s worked wonderfully for me. Woke up with it still playing and only woke up then because someone knocked on my door. Very effective!! Thanks so much for sharing. 🌧 😴
