I wondered about how well rain x would work and whether it would be worth having panels in this area were we get what they call "Lake Effect" snow which occurs pretty regularly this time of year.

part of the problem was we got rain then it snowed, so it froze to the panels, normally I can use a leaf blower but this time I had to broom it off. but ya rain X did not help as much as I thought it would

Bummer we all would like an answer to snow. I am thinking heat is the only way.

The first thing you need to do is cut that tree down that is putting shade on that panel. If any panel in a series is in shade it will decrease the entire series output drastically. Thanks for showing this. Have you tried WD40?

im not getting shade from that tree, well on the 2nd set of panels the first set is pointed more east for moring sun but does getting afternoon shade.but agree .I have not tried WD-40 . have you had luck with that ? i have heard others talk about that too

So thanks for checking back in. No they did not get ruined . How would they its glass lol. Anyway it did help a little with snow sliding off but not enough to justify add to your panels

@ Dude….try google. They are not glass. I’m guessing you don’t know if you damaged them…..since you don’t put in the effort to learn from experts
