It's still one of my most favorite movies. It's actually only called Leap in North America, in other countries its called Ballerina. They thought Americans won't watch a movie called ballerina, that's why.

I saw this video first, and it made me want to watch the movie. Watched the entire movie so that I could see the amazing scene where she dances with the adult ballerina. Was disappointed to find out that dance number lasted like 5 seconds and it was the actual end of the movie. The rest of the movie was great, but that dance number should have been 2-3 minutes long and ended in that epic leap as the last move.

This film is so inspiring. Its amazing how much this girl learns in a few months and dances in the nutcracker. My family couldnt afford for me to do ballet at all and i was desparate to do it. By the time i was 18, i got a job and started ballet. Now, im Grade 6 10 years later. When i first started they took me straight to grade 3 bc of all the things i taught myself. Now, my daughter is a ballet dancer. She started at 3 years old bc she was doing a lot of ballet by the time she was 2 and a half. She is now 11 and she is an amazing grade 5 dancer. I am so glad i was able to give her all the ballet desires she ever wanted!
