I remember listening to this remix a long while ago, but there was drama? If you're able to, can you recap? I'd like to know why this song just kind of disappeared.

@@pegacousin I don't have the full story and there is probably a lot that I'm missing but the original creator of this remix is REVENGE on KZbin and from what I can could tell JBM copied their remix without permission, replaced a few voice lines, and added the beginning and ending Warning sections. Uploaded it to KZbin and it became the more popular of the two. And at some point I think KZbin flagged Revenge's video as a reupload of JBM's. Thank you so much for the history lesson. I've been trying to track down the origin of the lyrics variation for a few weeks now. Had no idea there was drama involved. It seems that everyone that gets their hands on this song adds their own new verse or two. Thank you for giving me another rabbit hole to jump down.

The author of the original mix began to resent that his work was used in such a thing... In fact, J.B.M. only added effects(reverberation, for example) and sounds, like the voice of the "announcer" and laughter...

Man, I love this remix... ... I was waiting countlessly for the Full Game of Smoldless.EXE to come out with the final fight between Sonic.EXE and Rainbow.EXE... Hopefully Sonic.EXE wins the fight... Right?

The warmup takes way too long. I do like this, but the music doesn't have quite the same feel. It's missing the full weight of the original, that had this heavy dread to each pound of the beat and the deepest piano notes that's hard to explain. I also like some of the extra lines, like the "Rainbow philosophy" part, but the "place of secrets and pain" line and others like it didn't quite fit either the music or the beat. They felt a bit clumsily placed. According to some comments they were placed after the fact, so maybe that's why.
