For the 4th of July, I did a Red + White + Blue with Starblends and a lollipop blender sponge. I used a clear glitter poof bottle and it turned out great!

I love this! My bestie and her fam came over to visit after I watched this and her husband let me glitter his beard. It was not at all hard to do. He agreed that it was comfortable and said he would definitely go for it at a festival, reunion etc. He even wore it to the grocery store when they left my house.

Hey! I'm going to be face painting at a fair soon, but I'm super nervous! I've never face painted before, never stood for four hours straight, never really done any of that ! Do I get to practice beforehand? Will I get stencils?? Is there a paper with stuff I have to do???? AH please give tips!!

I recently had a glitter event and a few dull colors were requested (for the beards). And even with the glitter I wasn’t very happy with how it turned out. I’m just thinking of this, but I wonder if laying down white paint before the actual paint color, then the glitter, if it would make a huge difference. Too bad my hubs doesn’t have a beard.

You could lay down white but it's going to make everything pastel...probably not brighter. Just a guess though.

Thank you for your videos. I learned so much from you! I do have a question, what glue do you use to put gem on kids face? I'm considering getting on board. And of course, I want to pick everything that safe for kids. So far can't make a decision. Or I should say that I have no clue. 😂

Oh boy...my favorite glue is a tiny little bottle with a purple lid that can be hard to find. My BEST advise for you is to go into one of the face paint jewel/gem forums on face book and search the topic. You'll get tons good advise.

Do you think that spraying on setting spray would also work well? I've never tried it, but I'm just thinking that if the facepaint works well because it's super wet, maybe that would be a goo option too? Are you partly using facepaint to add a good background pigment from a distance too though, so it's more obvious what colour the glitter is?

yes, using face paint will enhance the color which is what I was hoping for. I personally don't like setting sprays.
