Just bought violet , watched this video ; so took her out the box and removed her bangs... looks so much better . I just used pliers one plug at a time and was done in ten mins, so easy

I didn't need to use a lot of force for the most part. For the outside strands, it was in there quite good, but they mostly came out pretty easily

I would worry about the hair becoming loose over time where the bangs had been. Did you consider popping off her head and using some glue? I do prefer her without bangs, that is for certain!

I have been playing with her hair now for about 1,5 weeks and the hair is still staying in place, so to be honest I'm not too worries!! I'd be more worried about removing her head, so I might take the risk :)

For me, they lasted 1 full day + 1full night. The morning after that, they did drop into a very nice wave. This does have to do with the way I curled it (letting it sit overnight), because I wasn't going for more permanent curls. If you want a more lasting look, you can use warm water and dip the hair (wrapped in straws) in warm or hot water before taking the straws out. This will set the curls in place more permanently
