Zulqarnayn Z! Bin Anowar I already watched: Parasyte (hated), Death Note (good anime, but overrated), Mushishi (loved) and Haikyuu (fucking loved). Gintama and Ghost In The Shell I dropped at the first episode. Monster I dropped at the third episode Log Horizon is on my list for watch. Tatami Galaxy, Ping Pong The Animation, Like Serial Experiments and Kuroku no Basket I never heard of them.

I connect so many emotions and memories with this anime. All 26 Episodes made my life better but also worse at the same time. Seeing what these guys had to go through was not only relateable but also was very painful to watch. I know theyre just fictional characters from some fictional show but for me theyre more,i connect with them. I watched this anime 8 years ago. I remember the two nights I binged it so vividly. 8 years later I've read the manga. The emotional roller coaster and life lessons I've learned once again is truly eye opening. Especially knowing context to this on how it was written by ex Yakuza who went to a prison as bad set in after the war where the aftermath stole the dreams from all the children. Truly inspirational

Watched this anime years ago it was easily a favourite and man the manga was even better I just finished it. I will miss the boys , bro will forever be missed and the rest of cast. Genuinely my favourite take on theme of friendship in Animanga it's so damn genuine and well developed. Friendship isn't a complex thing but beauty of it is the simplicity of the concept of it. Friendship looked here the most beautiful it could've been and shined the brightest in such a dark story. I fucking love this anime and manga please watch it if you have the chance.
