FO TW what about Kapkan ? I just started using him and it seems best to place traps away from the obj where they won't be expected. By the time you reinforce walls and then set your traps the prep phase is up and it doesn't seem worth it to slog back to the objective.

Letting drones pass you and assume they did not see you is pretty risky. When I drone and spot a hidden roamer, I NEVER look directly at him because I hope he thinks I did not spot him. Works really well most of the time.

M Gr i do this and it works soo well. I got taught this myself back in black ops 1 when me and my friends played mike myers. When I was mike, I would never look at them when passing so they felt confident. And then once I killed everyone else, I would return to the spot and win.

The best roaming tips I could ever give 1. Always be aware of angles you can die from, always check your back. 2. Play slow, never try to run to get a flank off, even if your team are desperate a good attacking team will prepare for you. Taking it slow means you'll make more correct decisions. 3. to add on the drone thing, a lot of good players use their drones as much as they can, and a lot of times they make it seem like they did NOT see you when they really did. i would assume they saw you unless you are positive they did not. plus, if you are not sure if they did see you or not, hold position if you are good enough to win a firefight and you know where they are pushing from there.

This video is very helpful, I mostly picked it all up by myself but I usually drop 5-15 kills every game. When you’re attacking push a main traffic area and just hold the angle, I usually like to do this on stairs, then corridinate the rest of your play to your teammates. When defending you just gotta chill. Stop dying early asf and making it harder on your team. Pick a room and just relax.

Usually I hide, check the cameras, find where they spawned, stop using the cameras, wait for an explosion or a callout and with my map knowledge flank around their position. I can wipe out half of their team usually, slip away, scare them and they rush into obj and die. This works really well for me, using this tactic with Jäger and Bandit. One armour operators with shotguns are the best at pulling off a successful flank.

Thanks for the tips, I'm a decent roamed before seeing this, but I have actually been doing much better. I shared this video with a friend of mine who also plays Siege since he usually roams as Jäger. He mostly aims for the kills, but now he plays it smart. This friend and I are in a squad that plays Siege and we all go to he same school, yesterday, before I saw this video, we lost eight rank matches, and all went down to either silver 4, or bronze 2. We then ran drills, two people did terrible as breaching, so we assigned them as support. With that being said, I also have a suggestion if you have friends that you play with often. Run some drills once in a while, then find something you are best with and most comfortable with, and you will do great. Now, as attackers, we have a Glaz, Montagne, Hibana, Twitch, and Jackal.

One trick I love to use against roamers is when I play Fuze I use his LMG. When a roamer starts approaching me I start shooting and empty around 50 bullets and wait for them to come rushing in since they think I'm in a long reload animation

It really depends on how you use the defending operators. Me and my friends used to have the lord as a proxy anchor(anchored at a further point in the map) so I guess that kinda counts as a roam? And pulse would usually be our main anchor. Bandits and Jaegers usually do the roaming. But we would also use Rook to roam. It really didn’t matter because with the right communication anybody can roam.

We also have a move called “Bandido Royale” where we swap places as roams and anchors to fool the enemy thinking they were hunting a bandit then all of a sudden a rook jumps out and would take more bullets to the body than a 2-2 operator.
