Sledge and Thatchers are both still top viable picks. So is Mute and Smoke. Pulse, Castle, and maybe Thermite is debatable because other than Thermite, they aren't played that much, but Ash is still played a lot. I don't believe that newer operators make old operators obsolete. Doc, Rook[Maybe], Bandit, IQ, Montange, Jager are still viable.

Aruni being added doesn’t negate Jagers need for a nerf, in fact it probably just stresses it. Aruni isn’t gonna stop 3 ads stacked on a drone hole in ranked, she’s just gonna promote utility-dump strats like shield in blue bunker with 3 ads, wamai magnets, and now this. Even if jager were to be underpowered it’s so much better than him promoting the current meta. Great step in right direction from Ubisoft imo.

Keep in mind gridlock is a heavy counter as a single trax will disable the grid. I've started to main her and finka so ill be preped for all the Aruni mains.
